Welcome to the Information Systems and Innovation Groups Alumni website for graduates of MSc ADMIS, MSc ISOR and the PhD programme. There have been some exciting new developments and we would like all information systems alumni to join in and benefit from an increased network and contact with the ISI Group.
A newly formed committee of ISIG alumni has resulted in the establishment of LISA (LSE Information Systems Alumni). LISA is the ISIGs official alumni group, and it is being supported by staff here at the ISIG; "I am very pleased to support LISA in working to link the department with our world-wide community of Alumni" Professor Leslie Willcocks (Head of ISI Group).
If you would like to get in touch with the alumni group or provide some kind of feedback and suggestions, please contact any of the individual LISA Committee members.
Additionally, if you are part of an active regional IS alumni group, please let us know what you are up to and send us anything you would like to be included on this website.
LISA (LSE Information Systems Alumni) is a group dedicated to establish, maintain and forge new relationships between alumni, industry and the department.
All students who graduate from the range of programmes and degrees offered within the ISIG will automatically become members of LISA, while students graduated prior to 2008 are also strongly encouraged to join this group. Today LISA counts over 500 members.
LISA Events
Future events will be announced here, so remember to check back.
The LSE Information Systems Alumni , LISA, is back! Even though the past couple of years LISA had a limited presence, mainly focusing on talks to students, we are up and running again with new people on board.
After the graduation ceremony for the ADMIS class 10 we held an event, to get to meet and speak to you! To help you keep in touch with your fellow ADMISers, please find below a scrapbook with contact details and wishes from those who attended the event. So, all you need to do now is well stay in touch!
As you may recall every year current students produce the iSChannel journal, and this year the editors are inviting alumni to submit papers for inclusion. If you are interested in submitting an article, please see the full guidelines on what the editorial team are looking for. Note that you should send your manuscript directly to the Editorial Board at ischannelsubmission@gmail.com and the deadline for submission will bew in April 2011, date tba.
Talking Heads: Do you have a webcam and a few spare minutes? If so, we would like to hear about your memories of ADMIS! We would like alumni to record themselves on a webcam so we can create a resource of 'Talking heads' that future applicants can view. All you need to do, is turn on your webcam and answer some questions, upload it to YouTube.com and email us the link to it. Note that we are likely to change the name of ADMIS this year so please try not to say ADMIS as future students might not understand you!
To start off you could answer the following five questions: 1) What did you gain most from studying the course? 2) How has the course helped you achieve career goals? 3) What did you enjoy most about being at the LSE? 4) Which course-unit did you particularly enjoy and why?
And here is the first video, by Sheharyar Malhi (MSc ADMIS 2007/8)
