Professor Luckmann is Emeritus Professor of Sociology at Universität Konstanz. He is co-author with Peter Berger of The Social Construction of Reality, possibly the most influential and widely-read book on the sociology of knowledge in the second half of the 20th century.
The seminar will be chaired by Jannis Kallinikos, Reader in information Systems.
This seminar is part of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC)-funded ICTs in the Contemporary World: work management and culture series and is open to the public.
