1. National Bank of Greece Senior Research Fellow/Research Fellow in Contemporary Greek Studies

Salary: Research Fellow: £40,123 - £46,477 pa incl
Senior Research Fellow: £47,864 - £55,446 pa incl

Following the generous support of the National Bank of Greece this fellowship is to facilitate high quality research and publication(s) relevant to the work of the Hellenic Observatory. Applicants should have a PhD, a strong publication record and knowledge of contemporary Greece. Applicants are required to submit a full research proposal of their own.

2. The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy, Competitiveness & Shipping, Senior Research Fellow / Research Fellow

Note for applicants:

The above post and the National Bank of Greece post are open to applicants of both Senior Research Fellow and Research Fellow levels. The preferred appointment is for a Senior Research Fellow, however if no suitable applications are received at Senior Research Fellow level, the Hellenic Observatory will consider applications at Research Fellow level.

Please state clearly which level you are apply for on your application.

The above post and the National Bank of Greece post are fixed term owing to the external funding provided. For both fellowships: appointments may be made for one year or two for 6 months consecutively starting September 2010.
 

3. A.C. Laskaridis Postdoctoral Fellowship on Greece

Following the generous donation of A.C. Laskaridis, we are pleased to announce a Postdoctoral Fellowship for 2010-11. You must already have completed your PhD.

This fellowship is to facilitate high quality research and publication(s) relevant to the work of the Hellenic Observatory. We seek a candidate who can undertake research on Greece, its foreign relations, domestic politics or economic performance.
