The School subscribes to two pension schemes:
Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) and Superannuation Arrangements of the University of London (SAUL)
Recent Development
LSE is changing the way in which it pays national insurance contributions on pensions with the introduction of a scheme called PensionPlus.
PensionPlus
This is a scheme that will allow National Insurance saving on pension contributions and is operating successfully in other major UK universities.
We have produced a booklet for USS and SAUL members they explain how PensionPlus will benefit you, how it works and aims to answer any questions you may have.
Following the PensionPlus workshops held on 3 and 4 June, we have now made available the presentation slides (in MS Powerpoint format) and relevant information for USS and SAUL (PDF documents):
