The London Migration Research Group (LMRG) is an inter-university and interdisciplinary network of scholars from the wider London area and beyond who have research interests in the politics, policies and processes surrounding international migration flows. The current LMRG convenors are
Fiona Adamson (SOAS),
Claire Dwyer (UCL) and Eiko Thielemann (LSE).
LMRG holds regular research seminars in which migration
scholars present their work in progress. LMRG also publishes a working paper series, and organises specialist workshops and conferences on migration related topics.
LMRG is open to academics, students, policy-makers, etc. working on migration issues. If you would like to be added to the LMRG mailing list, please contact Eiko Thielemann.

Seminars are held three times a term on Tuesday evenings between 5-6:30pm. Seminar locations alternate between the London School of Economics (LSE), University College London (UCL) and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). Papers will usually be circulated to members of the mailing list in advance of the seminars. Seminars will usually involve a short presentation, a discussant and an open discussion among the participants.
