EU Kids Online II (2009-2011)

Enhancing Knowledge Regarding European Children’s Use, Risk and Safety Online.

This project will design and conduct a comparable quantitative survey of children’s use of online technologies across member states focusing on online risks and safety. It will also map parents’ experiences, practices and concerns regarding their children’s online risk and safety. First findings will be available in autumn 2010.

EU Kids Online I (2006-2009)

European Research on Cultural, Contextual and Risk Issues in Children's Safe Use of the Internet and New Media

Now completed, this project examined European research on cultural, contextual and risk issues in children's safe use of the internet and new media across 21 countries. All project outputs and reports are posted on this site. Also provided is a searchable database of European research on children's experience online, plus best practice research FAQs and resources for researching children's internet use.
