Study

DESTIN offers five Masters programmes. The two largest programmes are the MSc in Development Studies and the MSc in Development Management administered by the Institute, with options available across the School.

We offer five other degrees jointly with other Departments and Institutes: MSc in Environment and Development, MSc in Anthropology and Development, MSc in Population and Development, MSc Urbanisation and Development and MSc Political Economy of Late Development. We also have close ties with the MSc Gender, Development and Globalisation and MSc Global Politics. Links to these programmes are shown on the left.

Applications to MSc Development Studies and MSc Development Management

Please note that these are extremely popular programmes.  We often fill the programmes by January/February (for October start), so we would advise you to submit applications in October-December if at all possible.

Queries about the joint degree programmes should be addressed to the other host department which is responsible for administration.
