Aims and objectives
After successfully completing this package, participants will be able to:
- Use Chinese to communicate in a culturally appropriate manner.
- Understand communication between persons from different cultural backgrounds and in different cultural contexts, particularly in a business context.
- Provide you with an opportunity to reflect on how cultural context influences identity construction and negotiation, including your own, in intercultural communication and the features of effective communication with people from different cultural backgrounds and in diverse contexts, in the broad framework of “native” and “other” cultures, as well in the more fluid and dynamic contexts of intercultural communication.
- Help you to explore the relationship between language teaching and intercultural communication.
