Chinese Tests


The National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (Hanban) offers various international standardised tests of Chinese language proficiency for non-native Chinese speakers. At our test centre we offer the written HSK, HSKK and BCT exams.


HSK/HSKK Examination

The Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) is an official examination designed to assess the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers of Chinese from beginners (level 1) to advanced (level 6).

The Hanyu Shuiping Kouyu Kaoshi (HSKK) is the oral exam and focuses on spoken capability. The HSKK is divided into three different levels: Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced.


BCT Examination

Business Chinese Test (BCT) is a state-level standardized test designed to assess the Chinese proficiency of non-native speakers engaged in business activities.
