Undertaking private work while at LSE: an introductory talk

LSE Enterprise is holding an introductory talk for anyone interested in undertaking consultancy or commercial research, or teaching on customised executive education programmes while working at LSE. The talk will cover what types of project you might work on, the services we offer and how to get started.

Undertaking private work in your field of expertise enables you to boost your income, experience and reputation, and see your ideas put into practice by organisations around the world. If using the LSE name, this work must be done via LSE Enterprise. We provide the contractual structure and a range of support for projects, taking care of the bidding process, insurance, and payment for consultancy, and the smooth running of executive teaching.

With frequent consulting opportunities for project research assistants, academic leaders, expert advisors etc, and executive training openings for more experienced teachers, we work with academics at every stage of their postgraduate career. We have undertaken projects with over 400 academics and almost every LSE department. All of our profits flow back into the School each year.

LSE Enterprise is LSE’s commercial branch, connecting LSE academics with external organisations requiring consultancy, commercial research or executive education courses. See: lse.ac.uk/enterprise for information.

Venue: 1.11 Cowdray House, Portugal Street, LSE

Time: Friday 30 November 2-3pm

RSVP: Rehanna Neky, r.neky@lse.ac.uk. Please include your department / research centre and areas of interest.
