LSE and Germany
With a well-established Alumni Society, an active German Student Union, over 500 students from Germany currently studying here, conferences such as the Dahrendorf Symposium and an array of academic research into subjects relevant to the region, LSE and Germany are closely connected.
LSE Enterprise’s Intelligent City Forum, a collaboration in Berlin with the Innoz (the Innovation Centre for Mobility and Societal Change), is now two years old. We are now building extended connections within the country, working with our business development manager Christian Thiel and colleagues across LSE to bring the expertise of LSE academics to organisations throughout Germany.
LSE Enterprise offers unbiased international perspectives, leveraging LSE expertise in commercial applications in order to help address the growing challenges and requirements of society, the government and the private sector.
Based in our branch office in Berlin, we offer customised executive education for the public and private sectors, cross-disciplinary consultancy and commercial research on the range of areas covered by LSE, and other collaborations to apply the social sciences to real-world issues. See some examples.
We also organise the British-German Dialogue forum with the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
If you would like to find out more about working with us or engaging LSE expertise, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please use the contact details on the left.
