The third edition of the LSE Masterclasses in Social Sciences is bringing some of the world´s best social scientists to Madrid to present and discuss the key issues facing Spain in the global context. Four three-day seminars are taking place at the Fundación Ramón Areces during 2015:

Technology, Business and the Rise of the Machines: The future of the Internet
The Environmental Challenges of the 21st Century
Spain, the EU and the USA: What future do they have in the new Global Economy?
The Masterclasses are based in Madrid and designed for young professionals and researchers who possess at least an undergraduate qualification and a high level of English and who have experience in business, academia, research centres or national and local governments in Spain.
They are generously sponsored by the Fundación Ramón Areces, an eminent privately funded non-profit institution which focuses on supporting and disseminating research in life and material sciences, social sciences and humanities.
