About LSE Enterprise

LSE Enterprise is a wholly owned subsidiary of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), based at the School and applying its social science expertise on a commercial basis. The marketing and communications function uses digital and traditional platforms to build relationships with potential clients, encourage LSE academics to work with us, publicise events and provide materials for custom programme participants.

About the position

Your main tasks will be to undertake day-to-day website additions and updates, draft news stories and report summaries, edit images, format Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher documents, and help with general marketing and office administration. You will have the opportunity to get involved in other aspects of marketing work depending on your interests / abilities and current marketing projects - for example design, research, analytics, social media, writing, photography or film editing. 

Essential abilities

  • Native level of English.
  • Excellent English language writing skills.
  • Computer literacy - for example being able to format documents to a high standard, create Excel spreadsheets or undertake mail merges. You should be able to learn new programmes rapidly and ideally have some familiarity with Adobe design software.
  • Experience of working with websites and blogs; preferably familiarity with using content management systems.
