Richard Wildman

Richard devoted more than 24 years of his career working for Accenture where he fulfilled a number of partnerial leadership roles in the UK, Europe and globally. He has subsequently taken on a number of consulting roles as well as non-executive board roles with start-up and SME businesses.

Professor Alnoor Bhimani (Chair in Management Accounting, LSE)

Professor Bhimani holds the Chair in Management Accounting at LSE. He is former Head of LSE’s Department of Accounting and founding Director of LSE Entrepreneurship. His research includes the interface between digital technologies, financial controls, enterprise growth and global development issues. Professor Bhimani has an MBA from Cornell University where he was a Fulbright Scholar and a PhD from LSE.  

Professor Julia Black (Pro Director for Research, LSE)

Professor Black completed her first degree in Jurisprudence and her DPhil at Oxford University. She has received a British Academy/Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowship and been a Visiting Professor at the University of Sydney and a Visiting Fellow at All Souls College, Oxford. She is General Editor of the Modern Law Review and on the editorial boards of Law and Policy, Regulation and Governance and the new Journal of Financial Regulation.  

Paulina Bozek (CEO, INENSU)

Paulina is the CEO and co-founder of INENSU, a start-up studio that builds and launches social and mobile products.

Paulina is an expert at designing and running high-retention channels that deliver strong user-engagement and useful analytics to partners. She has partnered with leading brands in fashion, music, TV, games and media.

After completing a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies/Critical Theory and Analysis at McGill University (Canada), Paulina completed a Master's degree in Media & Communications at LSE.

Paulina has held roles as a Development Director at Atari and as an Executive Producer / Director of a pioneering video game franchise, from concept to $1Billion in sales.

Paulina is a Governor and a member of the Court of Governors & Nominations Committee at LSE, and recently became a Board Director at LSE Enterprise. Paulina has been the recipient of two BAFTA awards, and was a Committee Member of the BAFTA Video Games Committee for over three years. She has extensive press and presentation experience and a strong personal network across corporate and creative industries.

Dr Alex Gillespie (Associate Professor in Social Psychology, LSE)

Alex has a BA in Psychology from Trinity College (Dublin), an MSc from LSE and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. 

He is on the editorial boards of Culture & Psychology,Integrative Psychological and Behavioral Science, Papers on Social Representations,The Journal of Social, Evolutionary, & Cultural Psychology, Journal of Integrated Social Sciences and the British Journal of Social Psychology.

He is a member of the ESRC college of reviewers, a European Science Foundation reviewer, a member of the Irish Research Council's Outer International Assessment Board and an external assessor for the Romanian Research Assessment Exercise.

Mustafa Khanbhai (General Manager at Uber, responsible for expansion across Central England)

Mustafa has a background in corporate development and start-ups and has launched, built, invested in and sold businesses across emerging and established markets.

Whilst studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at LSE, Mustafa was the President of the LSE International Society. He is a member of the Court of Governors at LSE and has recently become a member of the Board of Directors at LSE Enterprise.

Previous roles have included sales at IBM, corporate development at Mars and then Virgin, where Mustafa Co-Founded and ran Virgin Digital Help.

Mustafa is Investor & Founder of both Printsource Europe and Digitall Ltd and an active speaker at LSE, championing entrepreneurship and social change within the School.

Gita Patel (Director, Stargate Capital Investment Group; LSE Governor) 
Gita plays a leading role in growing women's entrepreneurship, with previous experience in the oil industry and a 15 year career in banking at Nat-West group where she was part of the bank's core management. Gita is a business angel and mentor, and serves on the boards of a number of private companies. She also sits on the 'Narrowing the gap' committee for ICAEW, is on the board of British Women Entrepreneurship Association and is a member of the London Chamber of Commerce's ABA board. She is an LSE graduate and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (UK).

Dr Carsten Sørensen (Associate Professor (Reader) in Information Systems and Innovation at LSE)

Carsten holds a BSc in mathematics, an MSc in computer science and a PhD in information systems from Aalborg University, Denmark. He has since the 1980s researched digital innovation, for example innovating the digital enterprise through mobile technology (enterprisemobilitybook.com), and the innovation dynamics of mobile infrastructures and platforms (digitalinfrastructures.org). He has published widely within Information Systems since 1989 (scholar.carstensorensen.com).

Carsten has extensive experience as a Principal Investigator on a number of national, EU, and industry research grants in the UK and Sweden. He assists and assesses digital startups and has for 25 years been actively engaged in academic consulting and executive education with a broad range of organisations.

Chris Yates (Director, LSE Advancement)

Chris is Director of LSE Advancement, with responsibility for the School’s development and alumni relations functions. He came to LSE in 2014 from University of Southern California where he served as Associate Senior Vice President for Major and Planned Gifts from 2011-2014. Prior to this he served as Director of Planned Giving at Stanford University from 2003 to 2011 and as Associate Director of Planned Giving from 1992-1998. Chris has also practised corporate and banking law.
