Meet the team

Jeannine McMahon

Jeannine McMahon - Project Director

Jeannine is the project director for LSE Consulting, responsible for strategic planning, overall management of projects and business development. Jeannine works closely with LSE academics and departments across the School to facilitate collaborations with public and private sector bodies. She holds a BA Hons in History and Media from Ulster University, a PG Dip in Arts Administration and a Certificate in Management.

Since joining LSE Enterprise in 2003 Jeannine has helped shape the consulting operations, growing the business into a multi-million venture with a strong team of business developers and managers. She has previously worked as a corporate fundraiser and marketer, actively managing a range of portfolios for clients.

Niccolo Durazzi

Niccolo Durazzi - Research Associate

Niccolo is an MPhil / PhD candidate in the LSE Department of Social Policy and a Research Associate at LSE Enterprise, where he has worked since 2010. He assists the consultancy team in acquiring and managing public sector consultancy work, focusing on education, skills and social policy. 

He holds an MSc (distinction) in European Political Economy from the LSE European Institute, an MA (honours) from the University of Bologna in International Cooperation, Development and Human Rights and a BA in International and Diplomatic Science. 

Niccolo is co-author of several reports, including a research paper for the UK Government, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills on the social benefits of higher education and a study for the European Commission, DG Education and Culture on university-business cooperation in the US. His other clients have included the European Parliament, EU agencies, national governments and international organisations.

Bregtje Kamphuis 

Bregtje Kamphuis - Project Manager

Bregtje is a project manager at LSE Consulting. She is responsible for business development and project implementation primarily in the fields of law (with specific interest in public international law, human rights and dispute resolution), anthropology, media, and European social policy.

Bregtje holds an MSc in Law, Anthropology and Society from LSE and a BA in Liberal Arts from the University College of Utrecht, with a focus on law and politics.

Prior to joining LSE Consulting, she worked at the Vitoria Institute of International Law and Policy and a human rights NGO in The Hague. She speaks native English and Dutch, as well as conversational Spanish.

Elitsa Garnizova

Elitsa Garnizova - Project Officer

Elitsa is a project officer and researcher in LSE Enterprise’s Social and Cohesion Policy Unit. She has an MA in European Studies: Transnational and Global Perspectives from KU Leuven, Belgium and a BSc in International Economic and Management from Bocconi University, Italy. Prior to joining LSE, she worked with a London-based strategy consultancy, the Royal Institute of International Affairs and the European Commission.

Her research interests include regional and cohesion policy, trade policy, international affairs and the European Neighbourhood Policy. She is fluent in Bulgarian and English, has working knowledge of French and Italian and is currently studying Arabic (MSA).

Tanguy Sene

Sene, Tanguy - Project Officer

Tanguy is a project officer at LSE Consulting, working primarily on education, employment and skills. He holds an MSc in European and Comparative Social Policy from LSE, an MA in European Affairs from Sciences-Po as well as a BA in Philosophy and a BA in European Studies from the Sorbonne University. Before joining LSE, he worked at QS Intelligence Unit, the consulting unit of QS, a world university ranking company, and the European Parliament. He also worked as research assistant for an economist from Sciences-Po.

His research interests lie in EU policy (from both legal and economic perspectives), cross-national comparison of European welfare states and quantitative methods in social sciences. He is fluent in French, English, and Spanish, and has an intermediary level in German.

Evelina Kaminskaite

Evelina Kaminskaite  - Project Coordinator

Evelina is the project coordinator for the LSE Consulting team. Her activities cover a preparation of recruitment requests for project team members, ensuring all are contracted. She is also responsible for setting up project files, tracking project deliverables, managing expenses reimbursement and other project administration activities.

Evelina holds a Master's in Public Communication. Her field of interest is Intercultural Communication. Before settling in London she lectured at the University of Social Sciences in Lithuania. Her taught subjects were Public Relations and Intercultural Communication. Evelina also worked for a number of companies on various communication projects – from marketing campaigns through to political elections. Evelina started her career as a journalist at a daily newspaper.

Anju Begum

Anju Begum - Project Administration Manager

Anju is the project administration manager for LSE Consulting, responsible for managing the financial aspects of all consultancy projects including budget management, invoicing and payments. 

Anju holds a BSc in Computing Science from Middlesex University and has previously worked at the Heritage Lottery Fund and subsequently in LSE's Research Project Development Division.
