As Project Officer and Researcher at LSE Consulting, Freddie contributes to business development, project management, and research activities. He works in close collaboration with departments and research centres, external clients, and partners, whilst combining the technical knowledge of public procurement procedures with knowledge of subject areas relevant to the School.
Freddie joined LSE Consulting after working for a children and young people’s charity in West London, where he helped deliver four multi-commissioner contracts in a year, worth roughly £14m. These outcomes-based contracts encompassed four local authorities, schools, philanthropy, and £4.2m of highly competitive central government ‘top-up’ funding. Freddie has accordingly developed expertise in defining, measuring and pricing outcomes, as well as the benefits and challenges of working with payment-by-results.
Freddie holds an MSc in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford, and a BA in History & Politics from the University of Sheffield.
