Dr Jiayan Liu

Dr Jiayan LiuDr Jiayan Liu was a Visiting Fellow at the LSE Asia Research Centre.

She received her PhD and MA degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. Dr Liu is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Urban Planning, School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. Her research fields include Social Planning, Urban Housing and Public Space Studies. She has been the vice director of editorial department and the member of editorial board of China City Planning Review. Dr Liu was a visiting scholar at University of Amsterdam financed by Erasmus Mundus Scholarship during 2013, visiting research fellow at the University of New South Wales, and conducted post-doctoral work at Department of Sociology, Tsinghua University.
