This roundtable discussion is co-organised by LSE Law Department, LSE Asia Research Centre in collaboration with the Britain-Nepal Academic Council.

Dr Ananda Mohan Bhattarai is Justice of Nepal’s Court of Appeal Contribution of the judiciary in shaping the constitutional discourse in Nepal.

Professor Surya Prasad Subedi is Professor of International Law, University of Leeds Nepal’s challenges in writing a new constitution.

Dr Mara Malagodi is British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow, LSE Law Department Constitution-making and identity politics in Nepal.

Professor Michael Hutt is Professor of Nepali and Himalayan Studies, SOAS.
