At this seminar Fellows associated with the Asia Research Centre will disseminate their research for comment and discussion.
Dr Vanishree Joseph is Subir Chowdhury Fellow at the Asia Research Centre. Vanishree's presentation is titled Quality of Life Vs Economic Growth: Experience from India and Bangladesh.
Dr Manju Singh is Sir Ratan Tata Fellow at the Asia Research Centre. The title of Manju's presentation is Public Employment Programme in India: MGNREGA, how gender inclusive is it?
Mr Rajeev Sibal is Modi-Narayanan Fellow, currently a PhD candidate at LSE in the Department of International Relations. The title of Rajeev's presentation is Are Indian Markets Liberal? Firm level reactions to market incentives.
Ms Sarah George was Thailand Government Scholar 2010-11. Sarah's presentation is titled Dancing Under the Mongkhon: How Thailand’s national sport can teach us a distinctive moral code.
Dr Himanshu is Assistant Professor, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Dr Abhiroop Mukhopadhyay is Associate Professor, Indian Statistical Institute.
Professor David Piachaud is Professor of Social Policy, Department of Social Policy, LSE.
