Accessing LSE CareerHub

If you finished your degree less than two years ago


You will automatically switch to being a graduate CareerHub user when your degree programme ends (as long as you were eligible for CareerHub access as a current student). This is usually the end of June for undergraduates and nine month master's students and the end of September for other postgraduates.

You will have graduate access for two years after your degree programme ends. Note: your access isn't based on your graduation date.

Logging in

Go to careers.lse.ac.uk/login and select Current students or graduate (completed 0-2 years ago). Log in with your LSE Public Account. Your public account is what you set up when you first applied for LSE. The username is usually your personal email address.

If you are about to finish your degree programme, or have recently finished, you should check your LSE Public Account status in LSE for You, which you can also use to create and reset your password. Your LSE for You access will remain active until the December after your final results. During this time you may also be able to access CareerHub with your LSE Network Account, however we recommend you start using your Public Account as soon as your course has ended.

Otherwise if you have forgotten your LSE Public Account username and/or password or can no longer access LSE for You, please contact Ard.Transcripts@lse.ac.uk (from the email address you wish to be your username) with the following details:

  • full name (and previous names if they differ from the period of registration at the LSE)
  • date of birth
  • programme of study
  • dates of study
  • LSE student ID number
  • scanned copy of current passport ID page (or another suitable form of photographic ID)

If you are able to log in with your Public Account but then see a CareerHub message saying 'You cannot register', this usually means that your LSE Public Account username and password are correct but that you are not eligible to use CareerHub (or should be logging in using a different method). Please contact us with your name and student number if you think you should be able to access CareerHub.

If you finished your degree less than five years ago


Two years after your degree programme has finished you will automatically switch to having alumni access to CareerHub (provided you were eligible as a current student). You will be able to use CareerHub for three years after this point.

Logging in

Go to careers.lse.ac.uk/login and select Alumni (completed 3-5 years ago). Log in using your CareerHub Account.

The first time you log in as an alumni user you will need to set your password. If you know your student number and still have access to the email address registered with LSE then you can reset your password to set up your alumni CareerHub Account.

If you no longer have access to the email registered with LSE or you don't know your student number then complete a new login request form to gain access to CareerHub.

If you have problems

Please contact us if you have any issues with your CareerHub Account. If possible include your student number, a screenshot of the problem and the browser you are using.

If you finished your course more than five years ago

Unfortunately you are not able to access CareerHub if you finished your course more than five years ago.

However you can still access almost all of the information on the LSE Careers website and in our resource centre for free.

We can also recommend some external careers consultancy services if you feel you need some one-to-one guidance or support. Please note that these services do charge.
