As we prepare for the next academic year, I am emailing to offer an important update on the controversial blog article posted by Dr Satoshi Kanazawa, Reader in the Department of Management. As I stated in my all-School email in July, the issues raised by the blog are delicate; and due process must always apply. The School has sought to balance the concerns of research quality, the School’s reputation and the rights conferred by academic freedom. I believe we have achieved that.
