Join us for a lively evening of discussion with media and academic experts on US politics who will review the results of the 2016 US presidential election and give us their insight into what we can expect of the incoming administration.

Speakers:

  • Chair: Justin Webb, presenter on the Today Programme and former Washington Correspondent for the BBC
  • Peter Trubowitz is Professor of International Relations and Director of the LSE's US Centre.
  • Cheryl Schonhardt-Bailey is Professor in Political Science in the Government Department of the LSE
  • Sir Nigel Sheinwald is former British Ambassador to the United States and British Permanent Representative  Ambassador to the European Union. 
  • Bronwen Maddox is the Director of the Institute for Government. She is the former Editor and Chief Executive of Prospect Magazine and former Chief Foreign Commentator of The Times.
