Welcome Week is your opportunity to make friends, learn more about studying at LSE and living in London. You will be invited to attend a number of events throughout Welcome Week – some of which are optional and others compulsory. Compulsory events include registration, your LSE Welcome Presentation and the Department of Statistics welcome events which are below.

If you plan on arriving early, please visit the early arrivals webpage in August to find out about events held especially for you. Unless you are attending a compulsory pre-sessional course as part of your programme, you will be unable to register early.

You are expected to be on campus during Welcome Week, but if for any reason you are delayed, please see the late arrivals webpage, which will be updated during Welcome Week.
