ESRC DTP training

Workshops available to non-LSE students as part of the ESRC Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) network

The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) is the UK’s largest funder of research on economic and social issues. LSE is one of 14 ESRC recognised advanced training centres for postgraduate students in the UK, known as Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTPs). A key function of DTPs is to support multi-disciplinarily activities and to provide advanced professional support to ESRC funded students. LSE DTP is based in the PhD Academy, in Lionel Robbins Building.

The Department of Methodology offers a number of non-assessed Advanced Qualitative Research (MY530) and Advanced Quantitative Analysis (MY560) workshops each term to non-LSE students as part of the DTP network.

The workshops are published on the Methodology's main Training page under Workshops tabs, as well as on the NCRM website. Workshops are normally open for booking around two weeks before the scheduled event.

Non-LSE students can purchase a place on these workshops through the LSE Online Shop at £30 per workshop.

For more courses offered to non-LSE DTP students, please see the PhD Academy's events and courses pages.
