Nicholas is at present teaching, or has recently taught, the following courses in the Mathematics Department: MA103 Introduction to Abstract Mathematics; and MA317 Complex Analysis. He has previously taught: MA209 Differential Equations.
He also lectures in the Statistics Department, currently taking courses in Statistical Methods for the Social Sciences and Sample Surveys and Experiments.
He has a long-standing interest in Medical Statistics, currently collaborating with colleagues in Department of Emergency Medicine, Royal London Hospital. He has been commissioned to write a book ‘Research Methods and Statistics: An Introduction for the Health Sciences’, covering the Philosophy of Science, Research Methodology and the History of Medicine as well as applications of Statistics.
