Anastasia is a Guest Lecturer in the Department of Statistics since 2012. She is teaching a number of classes and lectures in both the Statistics and the Mathematics Departments. She currently teaches MA107 in the Department of Mathematics.
Prior to this, Anastasia worked for twelve years as a Market Risk Analyst in Credit Suisse investment bank, in the Risk Measurement and Management department. Her main responsibilities were the modelling and implementation of Value-at-Risk, and the review and analysis of the daily risks of Interest Rate products.
Anastasia completed her Ph.D. in Statistics on “Stochastic models for rainfall events” at the University College London, sponsored by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation. She has an M.Sc. in Operational Research from LSE and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
