I am currently Centennial Professor of Mathematics at LSE and James Meade Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford. My research is concerned with the evolution of social norms, the diffusion of innovations, and the application of game theoretic ideas to finance. I am a Fellow of the British Academy and of the Econometric Society, and am Past President of the Game Theory Society.
