Students studying

Join the Library

From 20 April to 1 June we are restricting access to the Library during the LSE exam period

Check carefully whether you are eligible for access before making an application.

The following non-LSE members will not be able to get access to the Library unless they have an exceptional research need:

  • Taught course students from University of London
  • Taught course students from SCONUL institutions
  • Other UK and overseas visitors

If you need to use our special collections or archives please give details on the application form. Access for non-LSE academic staff, research students or LSE alumni will not be affected by these restrictions.

If you are eligible for access during the restricted access period then complete our application form. It normally takes 5 working days for an application to be processed. See our opening hours page for details of staff availability.

LSE Alumni

LSE alumni can continue to use the Library.
