Sarah Thomson is a Senior Research Fellow in Health Policy, a Deputy Director of LSE Health and Head of the LSE Hub of the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies. Her research focuses on international analysis of health systems and health care reform, with particular emphasis on health financing policy in high- and middle-income countries. Recent work has been funded by the Commonwealth Fund, the European Parliament, the European Commission and the World Health Organization. Sarah teaches health financing policy to postgraduate students in the Department of Social Policy at the LSE and is Associate Editor of Health Economics, Policy and Law.
