Aris Angelis is a Research Officer at the Medical Technology Research Group, LSE Health, and a PhD candidate at the department of Social Policy, at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His research interests include pharmaceutical economics, pricing and reimbursement policies of new medicines, health technology assessment (HTA), and market access to innovative biomedical technologies. Aris’ PhD investigates the development of a methodological framework based on Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) for assessing the value of new medical technologies in the context of HTA, to inform resource allocation decisions and incentivise socially desirable R&D investments. Past work experience includes intern roles at Novartis and the Greek National Organization for Medicines. He holds an MSc in International health Policy - Health Economics from LSE, MSc in Biopharmacy from King’s College London and BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London.
