DFID systematic review

June 2010

A team from LSE Health and Social Care (Ernestina Coast, Tiziana Leone, David McDaid and Emma Pitchforth) have been contracted by DFID to undertake a systematic review addressing the question: "What are the effective models of delivery of improved maternal and child health outcomes for poor people in urban areas in low income countries?"

DFID is piloting the use of systematic reviews as part of a major new initiative to strengthen evidence-informed policymaking.
