Dr. Covadonga Meseguer is an Associate Professor in International Political Economy at LSE department of international relations. Covadonga’s fields of interest are International and Comparative Political Economy, Political Economy of International Migration, Political Economy of Latin America, and Political Economy of Development. She is currently working on a research project entitled ‘Politics and Migration in Out-Migration Countries’. This project examines the impact of out-migration on the policies and politics of sending countries and the political economy of emigration policies. Covadonga’s work has appeared in International Studies Quarterly, World Development, European Journal of Political Economy, International Migration Review, and others. She is the co-editor of the Special Issue "International Migration and Home Country Politics" published by Studies in Comparative International Development.
