How to Apply

Entry Requirements

PLEASE NOTE: EMPA APPLICATIONS

The Executive MPA| is still open for applications for the December 2014 start date, however the application form is temporarily unavailable.

The application system will re-launch in October so we would encourage you to use any extra time to prepare all application documents ready for submission.

In the meantime, please contact Andrew Brennen, EMPA Programme Manager, on a.brennen@lse.ac.uk| for any queries on the course. Your interest in the Executive MPA is very important to us and we apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

Applications for the MPA open in mid-October and applications for the EMPA are generally open throughout the year; however, as competition for the courses can be intense, we encourage potential applicants to apply as early as possible in order to maximise their chances of success.

The entry requirements listed below apply to both the MPA and the EMPA programmes.

Minimum entry requirement: 2:1 degree or equivalent in any discipline. Some economics options are only available to applicants with a good first degree in economics.

English requirement: Higher: 7.0 in IELTS (at least 6.0 in each section) or 107 in the internet-based TOEFL (at least 21 in writing, and 20 in the other three elements).

GRE/GMAT requirement: Not required, but will be considered if submitted.

Although you may apply online| or by post, we strongly encourage you to apply online to avoid delays occurring in the postal system. The application assessment fee is also reduced for online applications (£50 online, £75 via post).

We take active steps to scrutinise and verify documents received during the application process. If we are unable to verify independently the accuracy of information supplied, your application may be cancelled and any offer withdrawn.
