Oriana Bandiera is Professor of Economics at LSE, the Director of the Suntory and Toyota International Centres for Economics and Related Disciplines (STICERD), and Co-Director of the International Growth Centre (IGC). Her research interests include the study of contracts and incentives in a broad range of organisations and countries, and the effects of entrepreneurship programmes on the lives of the poor. Her work has been published in leading academic journals such as the American Economic Review, Econometrica and the Quarterly Journal of Economics.
