Babken Babajanian convenes the MPA cross-departmental courses, namely the Policy Paper, Dissertation and the MPA Capstone. He coordinates and delivers the MPA Skills Development Seminars (SDS) and Policy Paper and Dissertations seminars. He runs daily tutorial sessions and provides advice and guidance on academic matters. Babken coordinates the MPA Policy in Practice Seminars (PiPs).
Previously, Babken taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the LSE Department of Social Policy. He has been involved in applied policy research and programme design for over 15 years, and held full-time posts at the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and the Overseas Development Institute (ODI). Babken has a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University and a PhD in Social Policy from LSE.
