ActionAid
ActionAid is an international anti-poverty non-governmental organisation whose aim is to fight poverty worldwide. Today, it helps over 13 million impoverished and disadvantaged people in 42 countries worldwide.
Arup
Arup is a multinational professional services firm which provides engineering, design, planning, project management and consulting services. The firm has over 10,000 staff based in 92 offices across 42 countries.
Bank of England
The Bank of England is the central bank of the United Kingdom and the model on which most modern central banks have been based. It was established to act as the English Government's banker, and to this day it still acts as the banker for HM Government.
BBC Media Action
BBC Media Action is the BBC's international development charity which uses media and communication to reduce poverty and support people in understanding their rights. It works with the BBC World Service in over 40 developing countries around the world.

Demos
Demos is one of Britain’s leading cross-party think-tanks, producing original research, publishing innovative thinkers and hosting thought-provoking events. They have spent 20 years at the centre of the policy debate, with the mission of bringing politics closer to people.
Department for Business, Innovation and Skills
The Department for Business, Innovation & Skills is responsible for economic growth. The department invests in skills and education to promote trade, boost innovation and help to start and grow businesses.

The Department of Energy & Climate Change works to make sure the UK has secure, clean, affordable energy supplies and promote international action to mitigate climate change.

The Department for Work and Pensions is responsible for welfare and pension policy and is a key player in tackling child poverty. It is the biggest public service delivery department in the UK and serves over 20 million customers.
European Policy Centre
The European Policy Centre (EPC) is a Brussels-based not-for-profit think tank on EU affairs, founded in 1996. It is committed to making European integration work and to promoting discussion and wider reflection on the issues facing the EU.
Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN
The FAO is an agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger. Serving developed and developing countries, FAO acts as a forum for nations to meet to negotiate agreements and debate policy.
Global Green Growth Institute
GGGI was established to maximise the opportunity for “bottom up” progress on climate change and other environmental challenges. They work with the public and private sector in developing countries to put green growth at the heart of economic planning.
HM Treasury
Her Majesty's Treasury is the UK government department responsible for developing and executing the British government's public finance policy and economic policy.
House of Commons
The House of Commons is the lower house of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The Commons is a democratically elected body consisting of 650 MPs and its members consider and propose new laws and scrutinise government policies.
Institute for Government
The Institute for Government is an independent charity that aims to improve government effectiveness. The Institute's aims to support public servants; conduct and fund research on public administration and government; and provide publications, seminars and events.
Inter-American Development Bank
The IDB is the largest source of development financing for Latin America and the Caribbean. It supports Latin American and Caribbean economic development, social development and regional integration by lending to governments and government agencies.
International Budget Partnership
The IBP collaborates with civil society organisations to fight poverty and improve governance through efforts to make budgeting more transparent and participatory, more responsive to national priorities, resistant to corruption, and more efficient.
International Growth Centre
The IGC aims to promote sustainable growth in developing countries by providing demand-led policy advice based on frontier research. Based at LSE and in partnership with Oxford University, the IGC is initiated and funded by DFID.
Overseas Development Institute
The ODI is an independent think tank which focuses on international development and humanitarian issues. Its mission is to inspire and inform policy and practice which lead to the reduction of poverty and the alleviation of suffering in developing countries.
Revenue Watch Institute
The Revenue Watch Institute is a non-profit policy institute and grantmaking organisation that promotes the effective, transparent and accountable management of oil, gas and mineral resources for the public good.
Serco Institute
The Serco Institute is Serco's research facility. Their aim is to foster the development of sustainable public service markets through an outward-facing programme of research and communication.
SharedImpact
SharedImpact is a charity which operates a donor-advised fund, allowing investors to attract tax relief on their money and use it to make loans to charities and other social investments.
Shelter
Shelter is a registered charity that campaigns to end homelessness in England and Scotland. It gives information and advocacy to people in need by lobbying government and local authorities to improve the lives of homeless and badly housed people.
Urban Age LSE Cities
The Urban Age Programme is an international investigation of the spatial and social dynamics of cities, based at the LSE. It encourages the exchange of information, experiences and data across a global network of cities.
World Bank Institute
The World Bank Institute is the capacity development branch of the World Bank. It provides learning programmes, policy advice and technical assistance to policy makers, government and NGOs and development practitioners of developing countries.
