Andrea Villarreal is the MPASA Treasurer. Her role is to optimise the resources, organise and keep records of all financial movements, and ensure accountability and timely monitoring of the funds before and after each project. She authorises all expenditure and liaises with the MPA Programme to ensure approval of budgets. Moreover, she works together with the committee to support the team and ensure projects proceed in an effective way.
Andrea is Ecuadorian. She is an Economist with wide professional experience in risk management and finances. She has worked on research projects related to resource distribution models, efficiency and fiscal equity, decentralisation and local governments. She has also collaborated with the State Bank and Finance Ministry of Ecuador.
