Gearty Grillings

Gearty Grilling Banner

The Gearty Grillings are a series of short videos in which talented academics from across LSE are ‘grilled’ on their research and ideas by the Institute of Public Affairs Director, Professor Conor Gearty. The rules of engagement are simple: one take, and guests can't run over their allotted time.

From the financial crisis and fracking, to housing policy and human rights, the debates will put LSE’s leading authorities on some of humankind’s most provocative issues under the spotlight.

Please see below to watch some of the most recent Gearty Grillings as well as a selection of Professor Conor Gearty's favourites. For the extensive list of Gearty Grillings videos, please visit the IPA blog.
