Ed Wingfield works for J.P. Morgan as a member of their wealth management division’s strategic initiatives team, based in London. His current projects include working to strengthen the firm’s culture and management of conduct risk, a review of governance and regulatory compliance for business with Asian clients and improving controls around operational risk. He previously spent 16 years as an infantry officer in the British Army, including operational deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, Northern Ireland and Bosnia and two years at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C. Originally from Ireland, Ed studied History and Politics at Trinity College, Dublin.
