Prior to her current position, Julia has been working as a spokesperson of the Austrian Minister for Education and Women's Affairs (2013-14) and the Austrian Minister for Women's Affairs and the Civil Service (2011-13). From 2009-11, she served as media advisor to the Vice-President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, and prior to that she worked at a large Austrian communications consulting firm (2007-09, now Ketchum Austria). Julia started her professional career as press attaché at the Austrian mission to the United Nations in New York (2006-07).
