Alison has had fifteen years of public sector experience, 6 years at the Senior Executive level, in both the NSW and Australian Public Service, which have included a breadth of roles in strategy, change management and service delivery across the human services and planning systems. In her current role, Deputy Secretary, Policy and Strategy, Department of Planning and Environment, she is responsible for driving innovative planning reforms and planning system improvements and with ensuring that, from the earliest stages of policy development, the outcomes and benefits for users of the planning system are considered and incorporated into new approaches.
