Paolo is an Italian-Argentinian national living in Milan, where he moved in June 2015 after 20 years in London. He attended senior school in Buenos Aires, graduated in 1995 in Political Science in Italy and studied Finance at Birkbeck College in 1998. Paolo started his professional career in London as a junior consultant at the Adam Smith Institute before moving to work in the financial sector for the next 20 years. He first worked as an economic and political analyst on Latin America at Banco do Brasil, and then as a stock-broker at ITG, Bank of America and AB Bernstein, where he is currently selling European equities to institutional investors across Europe. Paolo has a strong interest in development economics, particularly in policies aimed at promoting economic growth with inclusion and social justice.
