Shiri is an investment professional with 10 years of diverse experience across microfinance, corporate banking, wealth management and impact investing. She is currently an Associate Director with Social Ventures Australia and is managing Western Australia's first venture philanthropy fund, which is focussed on investments in employment, education and housing for disadvantaged communities in Western Australia. Shiri has a particular interest in income inequality and economic empowerment and leveraging public-private partnerships to address disadvantage. Although originally from the US, Shiri is the definition of a global citizen, having lived and worked in 6 countries and with travel experience to 100+ countries around the world.
