Ayman is an Egyptian working in the UK for Shell Trading and Shipping Company. Shell Trading is the hydrocarbons and energy products trading arm of Royal Dutch Shell. He is responsible for expanding the crude oil trading business in North Africa and the Mediterranean. Prior to this role, Ayman was the Shell Government Relations Advisor covering the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). He also worked in the Shell Upstream International business with a focus on acquisitions and divestments in MENA and the Caspian regions. Prior to joining Shell, Ayman worked for Citibank Egypt in the risk management space. He also worked in business development in the high tech software industry in the US. Ayman holds a MBA and a BA in International Management. He has worked and studied in the United States, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and Egypt. Ayman is particularly interested in Egypt’s political and economic development.
