After obtaining undergraduate and graduate degrees in Political Science and Economics – with a particular emphasis on International and Development Economics – Daniel began his career in the Financial Services industry. His initial focus was on trading currencies and commodities. Over time, Daniel transitioned into the private equity sector where he managed proprietary investments in emerging markets as well as in emerging and distressed industries. Currently, he oversees a team of professionals and a portfolio of investments in a wide range of markets and instruments. The greatest satisfaction that Daniel derives from his work is watching portfolio companies in which we invest grow and succeed over time.
