Foreign and Commonwealth Office Visitors

In partnership with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, IDEAS has hosted visiting diplomats to work on research projects.

FCO Visitors are an integral part of IDEAS collaboration with the FCO.

Previous FCO Visitors

Will Shield was a FCO Visitor with the East Asia International Affairs Programme at LSE IDEAS. During his stay at LSE IDEAS, his research focused on the evolution of the People's Republic of China's interests in Latin America.

Rhodri Williams was a FCO Visitor at LSE IDEAS. During his stay in LSE IDEAS, Dr Williams worked on the changing nature of the British engagement in the Middle East after 1945 as seen through the prism of the Anglo-Jordanian relationship.
