Abel Martins Alexandre

Abel Martins Alexandre is a senior finance and business development professional, with significant experience in corporate strategy, business re-organisation, mergers and acquisitions, structured commodity finance and project finance. Abel graduated from Sorbonne (BA Philosophy) and Toulouse Business School, completed a masters in international finance and economics at the Université of Paris Dauphine, and has an MBA from London Business School.

 
Professor Iain Begg

Iain Begg is a Professorial Research Fellow at the LSE European Institute. His main research work is on the political economy of European integration and EU economic governance. He has directed and participated in a series of research projects on different facets of EU policy and his current projects include studies on the governance of EU economic and social policy, the EU's Europe 2020 strategy, evaluation of EU cohesion policy and reform of the EU budget.

David Cadier is currently a TAPIR Visiting Senior Fellow at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA). Before obtaining a TAPIR scholarship, he was a Teaching Fellow in International Strategy and Diplomacy at LSE. He has professional experiences at the OSCE Headquarters in Vienna, at the OSCE Mission to Serbia and at the French Embassy to Estonia. He recently co-edited Russia’s Foreign Policy: Ideas, Domestic Politics and External Relations (Palgrave 2015).

 
Guy de Jonquieres

Guy de Jonquières is a Senior Fellow at European Centre for International political Economy. He was previously working as a special correspondent and as an interna at The Financial Times and as international business editor and world trade editor. In 2001, Guy de Jonquières received the BP/European University Institute prize for essay on transatlantic economic relations, and in 2007 he was awarded as the opinion writer of the year by the Society of Publishers in Asia.

 
Jonathan Fenby

Jonathan Fenby has written eighteen books, eight of them on China, most recently Will China Dominate the 21st Century? He is a founding partner and China Director of the emerging markets research service, Trusted Sources serving global financial institutions and companies. 

 
Tanya Harmer

Tanya Harmer is Associate Professor at the LSE Department of International History. Dr Harmer obtained her BA at the University of Leeds before moving to LSE to obtain a MA and PhD in International History for which she was awarded an AHRC scholarship. She has held visiting teaching positions at Columbia University in New York (2012-13) and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2010, 2013).

 
Andrew Hammond

Andrew Hammond is a regular media commentator on US politics, US foreign policy and international relations issues. He formerly was employed as both Senior North America Analyst and also as a Geopolitics Consultant at Oxford Analytica in Washington DC, New York City and Oxford. He was also previously a Special Adviser in the UK Government in London.

Eirini Karamouzi is lecturer in Contemporary History at the University of Sheffield and A.G. Leventis Fellow at SEESOX, Oxford University. Eirini was the Max Weber Fellow 2013 - 2014 at the European University Institute and a lecturer of European Studies and History at Yale University and Deputy Head of the Southern Europe International Affairs Programme at LSE IDEAS.

 
Cristian Nitoiu

Cristian Nitoiu is an expert on EU and Russian foreign policy, EU-Russia relations, Eastern Europe, international relations, the European public sphere or international political communication. Currently at Aston University, he has held research positions at Trinity College Dublin and the College of Europe (Natolin campus, ENP Chair).
