The Dahrendorf Forum is a space for debating Europe, through original research and public engagement.
It is a joint initiative between LSE and German partners the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin and Stiftung Mercator, honouring the legacy of former LSE Director Lord Ralf Dahrendorf. Find out more about the project and its mission.
The project is currently in its third 'cycle', Europe and the World, exploring European foreign policy. In particular, working groups are examining Europe's relationship with its border regions and the world's two largest economies, the United States and China.
Each topic based 'cycle' is centred around the Dahrendorf Symposium in Berlin. The Europe & the World symposium 'Global Insecurity & Power Shifts' took place in May 2016 - explore videos and blogs from the event here.
The Dahrendorf Forum is supported by the Stiftung Mercator Foundation.
