Migrant Workers and Human Rights in Southeast Asia

Amnesty International has focussed on migrant rights in Malaysia and Thailand, as two main receiving countries of migrant workers in Southeast Asia. Migrant workers suffer from a wide range of abuses in both countries, from their employers, recruiting agents, and the security forces.  Amnesty campaigns for an improvement in their work and labour conditions and calls on both countries to ratify the Migrant Workers Convention.
