Austrian Forestry Programme
The Programme consists of seven thematic areas, of which the first is the “contribution of Austrian Forests to Climate Protection.” Its aims include: increased use of wood as a renewable raw material, expansion of forest areas in regions with low forest cover, and the stabilization of forest ecosystems.
